Corpse Husband’s song “E-Girls” hits Spotify milestone

Popular YouTuber and music artist “Corpse Husband” has enjoyed huge success on Spotify, all thanks to his viral hit “E-Girls Are Ruining My Life”.

Corpse Husband is one of the internet’s most intriguing content creators. As a “faceless” YouTuber, Corpse has never shown his face online, in part because of his own self-confidence, as well as his status as a massive internet superstar.

Corpse skyrocketed to social media stardom in 2020 amid the ‘Between Us’ craze. His incredibly deep voice and humorous interactions with other prominent figures in the popular game ‘whodunnit’ sparked intense interest in his mysterious image, and he is now bragging about an impressive number of 7.5 million subscribers.

However, he’s more than a game streamer; The YouTuber also managed to build a successful music career for himself, even scoring a collaboration song with Machine Gun Kelly in 2021.

Of course, Corpse wouldn’t be the character we know and love today without his viral song “E-Girls Are Ruining My Life,” which first uploaded in September 2020.

The track became synonymous with the star, featuring edgy beat and equally edgy lyrics alongside an image of famous internet star Emma Langevin.

As of June 2, 2021, Corpse’s song “E-Girls” had recorded more than 150 million streams on Spotify – a huge achievement that has had many of its fellow content creators celebrated on social media, including Valkyrae and CouRage.

It comes after Corpse appeared to overshadow the streaming platform in January, claiming that Spotify has never featured its music in any of their editorial playlists and that the majority of its song streams are from its fans.

Weeks later, however, E-Girls hit 100 million streams on Spotify – and now it’s getting even bigger, all thanks to the star’s extremely supportive fans and her catchy, grungy tunes.
