Mizkif says Trainwreck should be banned as Twitch gaming feud gets personal

With top Twitch streamers calling for gambling to be banned on the platform, Trainwreck and Mizkif threw serious allegations at each other during a Twitter feud.

On September 18, accusations emerged claiming Twitch partner SlikeR defrauded friends, viewers, and other streamers out of thousands of dollars over a two-year period. And in a live apology, SlikeR admitted to those accusations, saying the scams were the result of his severe gambling addiction.

Following this revelation, some of Twitch’s biggest creators – including Pokimane and Mizkif – called on Twitch to ban gambling on the platform. While many streamers rallied around this idea, others disagreed.

Most notably, streamer Twitch and big gamer Trainwreck took issue with the idea of banning gambling from the streaming service. Viewers have seen Train win and lose millions – lose more than win – and he almost constantly advises his fans not to gamble.

The heated stances regarding the gambling issue became visceral after Asmongold called Twitch a “shame” for not banning SlikeR after news of his actions came to light.

Train responded, saying Asmon’s “buddies” are using the SlikeR situation to “twist” the narrative and “wage war” against him. He also said, “And we both know deep down why the insecure little man is doing this.” The “little man” presumably refers to the Mizkif.

In a now-deleted tweet, Mizkif responded by stating, “If we’re going to scam people for scamming others, shouldn’t we ban you for a dime a few years ago?” Jolt Coin is a cryptocurrency that Trainwreck was affiliated with in 2017.

Trainwreck would respond with heavy allegations, stating, “Are you going to send Maya and Mitch to the railroad and blackmail me like you did with those girls to cover up all that sexual assault, goddamn it?”

He later clarified that Mizkif was not the assailant, but instead claimed that Miz “orchestrated the cover-ups for his friends”.

Mizkif would also clarify in his offline Twitch chat that Train was not accusing Miz of sexual assault. He wrote, “No, he’s talking about Slick” in one post and “When Maya and Mitch went to talk to Adrianna Lee” in another.

Although their online nicknames are similar, Mizkif refers to a streamer named CrazySlick. Adrianna Lee recounted an uncomfortable experience they had with Slick in a TwitLonger they posted in July 2021.

Mizkif has yet to respond to the allegations on Twitter, and Trainwreck has offered no information outside of his initial accusation.
