Launch of new visual and sound teasers for the video game Mass Effect 5

The long-awaited fifth main entry in the Mass Effect video game franchise is still a long way off, but the game’s project director Mike Gamble decided to give fans a taste of things to come anyway with a brief message, an image of a location where players can expect to see, and an encoded audio file.

“In the nearly 15 years since the first Mass Effect was released, the main reason we still love working on it is the warmth, dedication and passion of this community,” said Gamble. “Some of you have been with us through it all. We grew up together, sacrificed Ashley together, (Editor’s note: Or Kaidan, Mike! We all make different choices.) faced hardships together… and laughed until our faces were tired…together! And for those of you new to Mass Effect (thanks, Legendary Edition!), welcome!I can promise many years of fun, adventures and characters to fall in love with are yet to come.

“No matter when you joined us, across four games and more expansions, I can say with certainty that we’re here because of you, and each N7 Day is a wonderful reminder of that. As we Looking ahead, each week is a fun and exciting challenge for the team. We love bringing this universe to life, and while there’s a lot more we want to share with you, that’s for another time. A encoded audio file was also shared with fans. While it originally looked like static, many Twitter users quickly decoded it to reveal that it’s actually a message from Liara’s character. She said, “I can see it. How did we miss that? Exactly, the Council will be furious, even if it should know from now on not to underestimate human mistrust. This has always been their most defining characteristic.

Mass Effect 5, which has yet to receive an official title, was announced in 2020. Little is known about the game beyond the fact that it will continue the story established in previous entries in the main series. and that it will run on Unreal Engine.
